How To Start
The Pathway Forward Framework is designed to help organizations within the clean energy industry implement effective diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) actions.
Let’s get started. Your organization can adopt the Pathway Forward Framework in four simple steps:
Take the Pledge
Complete the Self-Assessment
Identify 1-3 Priority Areas and Develop an Action Plan
In order to complete the Organizational Self-Assessment, you will be prompted to identify 1-3 specific areas to take action. Be sure to visit the DEI Pathway Forward Framework Guide and the Resource Library to find suggestions, examples and ideas. Action Plans are best developed by the team or individual who completed the Self-Assessment Survey from your organization, together with senior leadership. It may also be beneficial to bring in additional stakeholders (for example, your Board of Directors) to collaboratively identify your organization’s priorities for DEI advancement.
The action plan can be found on the last tab of the self-assessment.
Submit the Completion Survey
Once you have submitted your completion survey, you will receive the Pathway Forward Member badge that you can use to demonstrate your organization’s commitment on the website or in recruiting materials.
