Industry Partners Unite to Create DEI Pathway Forward Framework

The Pathway Forward DEI Framework emerged from a collaborative effort led by Renewables Forward and spearheaded by key industry partners committed to creating a more equitable and inclusive clean energy sector: American Clean Power Association (ACP), American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA), National Hydropower Association (NHA), Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).

The Pathway Forward Working Group, in partnership with the consulting firms Culture Shift Team Inc. and The Sleeper Group, dedicated their expertise to developing a framework that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities within the clean and renewable energy industry. This joint effort resulted in a robust DEI framework designed to guide organizations from the solar, wind, hydropower, storage and efficiency sectors at every stage of their DEI journey.

The creation of the Pathway Forward DEI Framework is a testament to the collective commitment of major clean energy organizations. Together, these organizations represent nearly 3,000 clean energy member companies. They played a crucial role in developing and supporting this initiative, contributing their insights, resources, and leadership to ensure that the framework addresses the diverse needs of the clean energy sector and promotes meaningful DEI progress.
