Constance Thompson

Constance Thompson is focused on advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts at ACORE. She leads initiatives to build communities and coalitions within the renewable energy industry, manages the Accelerate membership program aimed at supporting women and people of color-owned renewable energy companies, and organizes events addressing DEI-related issues like workforce development and equal access to renewable power. With over 15 years of experience, Thompson has led successful DEI-focused initiatives for various organizations including The Manufacturing Institute, The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and Cornell University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia State University and is a Cornell Certified Diversity Professional/Advanced Practitioner (CCDP/AP).
